The activity leaders are trained and experienced in working with children. They are both staff members of the Steiner School and external personnel.

It’s spring—nature is celebrating! After the long winter, the little elf hears the birds singing again and sees the animals that have finally returned. He looks around… could the Easter Bunny have passed this way? This week, with his friends, he’ll sing and get ready for Easter. The forest smells of violets, the river is a gathering place for animals, and on his walks, nature—awakening—reveals its wonders to him.

A week of creativity and fun to enjoy the summer! In the mornings, you’ll discover different materials, explore your ideas, and let your imagination run wild. In the afternoons, you’ll set off on adventures through field trips and tours—and, of course, you’ll soak up the sun with refreshing swims! Pedagogical objective
This fun and enriching program will stimulate your child’s creativity and fine motor skills. A variety of art workshops (painting, sculpture, etc.) will help develop your child’s imagination and dexterity, while games and outdoor excursions will give your child the chance to be physically active and enjoy fun times with new friends.

FashionLab
Come and learn how to create bags, garments and other fashion accessories with a professional seamstress-costumier! If you've got some basic sewing skills, a vivid imagination and a bit of dexterity, this creative week will give you the chance to create your own personal projects and acquire some practical knowledge.
Pedagogical objective
Working alongside a professional artisan, your teenager will learn techniques in sewing, patternmaking, embroidery, and drawing, as well as the history of fashion and any other topics that might interest the group. In addition to developing their creativity, your child will gain practical skills.

Romane Claivaz: With a CFC in Fashion Design and training as a theater costume designer, Romane will oversee the second edition of this week-long event dedicated entirely to couture.

You’re the captain! Cast off and set sail for adventure! Spend a week on the water learning to sail a small sailboat, paddleboarding, swimming, and enjoying the lake with your friends!

In the morning, your child will go paddleboarding: team and balance games, rowing techniques and expeditions. The afternoon will be devoted to sailing on an Optimist and sailing independently in different points of sail, making basic adjustments and maneuvers.

The instructors at the Bellevue Sailing Club are qualified professionals who supervise children on the water and hold certifications such as the “Jeunesse et Sport” diploma or French state certifications.This ensures that our young sailors receive appropriate and safe instruction.

Little Sailors
Welcome to the Little Adventurers’ Sailing Camp! Are you ready to hoist the sails and set off on an adventure across the sparkling waters? You’ll learn how to sail a small boat, steer it, and become a real captain! You’ll play pirates with your friends, go on treasure hunts, and have lots of fun. In the afternoons, you’ll enjoy the lake, go swimming, and make lots of fun discoveries.
Pedagogical objective
A fun and educational experience to introduce young children to the world of sailing. The activities are tailored to their age and developmental level. In the morning, the children learn to sail in Optimist dinghies, with two children per boat. In the afternoon, they’ll go on short expeditions to explore the lake: the boats, the local trades, and the lake’s wildlife… The goal is for the children to feel comfortable on the water and to gradually gain confidence and skills in this new environment.

When will my registration be confirmed?
Registration is confirmed upon receipt of the form and payment. You will receive a registration confirmation email, and we will contact you shortly before the summer camp begins to provide additional information.
Can I reserve a seat and pay later?
No, we do not reserve spots. Payment confirms your registration.
Day camp is too expensive for me—can I get financial assistance?
Yes, under certain conditions, you can receive assistance from the Red Cross’s Mimosa Fund, with the amount depending on your income. To do so, contact us by email (centreaere@ersge.ch). We will send you a registration form and an invoice, which you will need to submit to the Mimosa Fund along with various supporting documents (link below). The Fund will then pay us a portion of the fee directly, and you can cover the remaining amount. Is there a discount for siblings?
No, we do not offer discounts. We strive to offer prices that are affordable for families, but we encourage you to apply for a grant from the Mimosa Fund if needed (see the previous question).
How can I tell if there's still room?
When a day camp is full, we’ll post a notice on the website, and the registration form will no longer be available. If you’d like to register more than two children at the same time, please let us know by email (centreaere@ersge.ch) so we can make sure there’s enough space.
Can I request the extended childcare option after enrollment?
What equipment should my child bring?
We will send you a detailed list the week before the day camp begins. Please note that, regardless of the activities, children will need weather-appropriate clothing, a change of clothes, slippers, a packed lunch, a napkin, an apron, and a water bottle. Any other items will be listed in the informational email sent before the day camp begins.
Can I register my child for one or more individual days?
My child doesn't speak French. Can I enroll him or her?
Do you accept children with special needs?
We try to accommodate every child, even though our staff members are not specifically trained to handle all types of children. Please email us ator centreaere@ersge.chto discuss this and see what arrangements can be made. Despite our commitment to inclusivity, we reserve the right to refuse a child whose care would be too complex and would negatively impact the quality of the day camp experience for the other children.
What are the cancellation and refund policies?
How can I get back the items my child has lost?
Lost and found items will be kept at the school in a box. At the end of the week, we will send you an email with photos of the items. You can pick them up during the summer camp weeks (contact us for the schedule) or at the school office once school starts.

At what time of year are summer day camps held?
We organize a day camp for 4- to 7-year-olds during Easter, four during the summer break (the first two and the last two weeks, according to the Steiner school calendar), one during the October break, and a mini-day camp on the following Monday and Tuesday. For 8- to 12-year-olds, we offer a one-week camp at the beginning of summer. We will adjust our offerings based on enrollment and may offer additional day camps during other school vacation weeks.
How many staff members work at the day camps?
We have a lead counselor trained in child care at each day camp. Depending on the number of children, we then hire one or two assistant counselors. There is a maximum of 6 children per counselor.
Should I plan on having lunch?
Yes, the children must bring their own lunch. Snacks, however, are provided.

Woodland goblins
Come and have fun for a whole week in nature, where you'll be able to make beautiful creations with natural materials to create a photo exhibition of your work to present to your parents on the last day! You'll take part in fun group activities, games, a horse-drawn carriage ride and free time to explore and let your imagination run wild in a lovely natural setting, in the forest and by the water. You'll also prepare delicious recipes with your new friends, and enjoy them as part of your afternoon tea!

Mural and Games
Over the course of a week, we'll work together to create a fresco on the theme of Myths and Legends. The day will begin in motion with a time of yoga, followed by pencils and brushes! The afternoon will be spent walking in the surrounding countryside, playing games and painting for those who want to!

Come and learn how to create bags, garments and other fashion accessories with a professional seamstress-costumier!
