Christmas Market

It is with pleasure that we inform you that our Christmas Market will take place
on Saturday, November 23, 2019

Opening with music at 10am - Tombola and closing at 6pm.
The stands will be open from 10am to 6pm, the workshops from 11am to 5pm.

In most Steiner schools around the world, the Christmas market is a traditional moment of celebration. It is the result of many months of work by families, teachers and friends of the school.

Young and old are invited to share this festive moment.

  • Puppet shows: "Fleur d'épine" by the Grimm brothers at 11am, 2pm and 4pm (from 4 years old, limited seating) " Rouge-gorge découvre l'hiver" at 11:30am and 3:30pm (from 2 years old, limited seating)
  • Creative workshops where we welcome about 300 children from 6 years old throughout the day: candles, lanterns, cookies, wood, felted wool, etc.
  • Ethical craft booths: Warm clothes, homemade groceries, Christmas atmosphere, Advent wreaths, books, wooden toys, etc.
  • Dwarf cave for the little ones as well as parent-children workshops from 2 years old
  • Little boat game from 3 years old
  • Catering all day long
  • Daycare
  • Relaxation area for parents and toddlers and meeting with the gardeners
  • Raffle
  • Educational exhibition

The stalls are usually manned by parents or students, and are overflowing with handmade items, some of which have become a hallmark of our market, such as Advent wreaths, carded wool ornaments and Waldorf dolls. Not to mention the grocery stand, stocked with all sorts of specialties made by the school community.

Many places to eat are also offered: cafeteria with good homemade food, organic pancakes, 350 organic hot meals, pizzas and chestnuts, tea room, as well as a beautiful Viennese café, a chic place orchestrated by the great students to enjoy delicious cakes.
