CREATION OF A CALCULATOR BY STUDENTS - SECONDARY 2

Internet, social networks, augmented reality, artificial intelligence... In order to approach and understand the stakes of digital technology, the students of secondary 2 are brought to a transversal discovery of new technologies, as much in a practical way as in a theoretical way.

Soldering iron, logic ruler, mathematics, green, red and blue wire... The students were asked to design, build and assemble a calculator from transistors, resistors and diodes.

This workshop helps to demystify for the students this "black box" that are computers, cell phones, etc. They understand that they are all made of the same components that the students used but... on a scale of billions!

Course given by Gustavo Exel to the 10th grade class in an electronic workshop.
